Golden Club Overview

Orontium aquaticum is a low maintenance, aqauatic perennial from the Araceae family. It grows best in water margins, producing tiny, bright yellow flowers in spring and summer, up to 15cm tall. Commonly known by the names Golden Club, Floating Arum and Tawkin. This species has simple, leathery leaves about 25cm long they may be submerged, floating or held upright above the water surface. The leaves have a metallic blue-green upper surfaces and purple undersides.
