Tall Moor Grass Overview

Molinia caerulea subsp. arundinacea 'Transparent' is a deciduous grass cultivar from the Poaceae family. Commonly known by the names Tall Moor Grass or Purple-Moor Grass. This attractive plant forms slim green leaves which display attractive autumn colouration. Flowers are transparent to green-brown, darkening with age and appearing from summer-autumn above the foliage in feathery sprays. Place in moist soil in partially shaded conditions for optimal growth.
