Fringed Lavender Overview

Lavandula dentata var. dentata is a delicate perennial in the Lamiaceae family of plants. Like most lavender plants, it does best growing in full sun, in well-draining soil on the alkaline side of the pH scale. Foliage is dark green, with finely toothed margins and teeth up the stems. Flowers are borne on long stems above the leaves, they are purple in colour and topped with pale purple modified leaves, termed bracts.
