Horned Poppy Overview
Short-lived perennial species that is frequently grown as a biennial plant. Growing from a central rosette on the ground, foliage is lobed and coloured blue-green. Bright yellow, sometimes orange blooms are produced on branched stems coloured with a grey tinge. These flowers are poppy-like, with wide, spreading petals. Flowers lead onto spiny, green seed pods.
