Flat-Stalked Spindle Overview

Euonymus planipes is a large deciduous shrub with ovate leaves that turn red in autumn. It produces small green flowers that develop into attractive, large, red fruits which contain orange seeds. Euonymus planipes - or Flat-Stalked Spindle, as it also known - grows well in most well-drained soils and is tolerant of dry spells. It is suited to most soil types and can be grown in a sunny or partially shaded position.
