Nepalese Paper Plant Overview

This species is from the eastern Himalayas. It is evergreen or deciduous depending on form. Grows into an upright shrub up to 3.5m tall and 2m wide. Produces clusters of highly scented red-purple flowers in late winter. Forms includes the deciduous 'Gurkha' and 'Jacqueline Postill', which is evergreen.
