Cypripedium reginae is a hardy deciduous orchid species in the Orchidaceae family. It has bright green, slightly hairy leaves which have prominent veins. In late spring and summer it produces white flowers with pink-streaked lips. Prefers moist fertile humus-rich soil. This species has earnt a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
