Smoke Bush Overview

Cotinus coggygria is well known by many common names, including Smoke Bush after its prolific, fluffy flowers. It is a large, deciduous shrub species with a bushy growth habit. It typically reaches over 5m in height, producing rounded leaves which display attractive yellow and red autumn colouration. Flowers are feathery and arranged in spherical clusters at the top of the plant, they are pink in colour, fading over time to a greyish shade.
