Sweet Autumn Clematis Overview

Clematis terniflora is a deciduous, twining vine species that produces opposite, pinnately divided foliage. Flowers are attractive, scented, white, 4-petalled and these are produced in autumn. Flowers lead onto into clusters of 5-6 fruits with white plumes, with age their colour fades and the plumes become more feather-like, detaching eventually to be dispersed by the wind.
