Clematis montana 'Grandiflora'

Clematis montana var. grandiflora is a deciduous, early flowering, very vigorous, large climber. Foliage is divided into a trifoliate arrangement comprised of 3 leaflets, these are coloured dark green. In late spring to early summer it produces white flowers measuring to up 7cm wide. These are followed by attractive fluffy seed heads in autumn. This plant has earnt a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
