Daisy Pomponette Series Overview

These are very popular plants to be used as spring bedding as they bring lots of bright colours to your boarders. These double flowers are a bright pink, red or white coloured with dense, quilled petals. They can self-seed so once they have died off it is likely you will still get another round next year.

How to propagate Daisy Pomponette Series

Seeds should be sown indoors for the first 8-10 weeks and take around 10-25 days to germinate. Once the seedlings are a good size to be planted outside make sure they have plenty of room to grow. You should plant them around early spring or autumn when the soil is cool but most frosts will have passed. They need to be kept in full sunlight to thrive.

You can divide these plants and plant them straight into pots or outdoors if the temperatures are warm enough. You just need to make sure that when dividing them your plants have a few leaves and a good amount of roots.

Other uses of Daisy Pomponette Series

These are great to plant under taller flowers to give colour closer to the ground in boarders and planters. They are regularly used in public landscapes and garden but can also be planted in containers or pots.
