Samphire Overview

Genus containing 1-2 aromatic, succulent species. Commonly found in rocky, coastal environments of Europe, including the UK. Foliage is fleshy and thin and typically these species possess a low-growing, creeping habit. The flowers are held above the foliage, they are creamy-yellow in colour and arranged in dense clusters.
