This hardy vigorous shrub has an upright habit. Its small, dark foliage is contrasted with extravagant flowers, that have frilly white petticoats and spreading, scarlet sepals. 'Snowcap' is considered a premium variety, and has been awarded the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the RHS.
