Rock Whitebeam Overview
Sorbus rupicola is now known as Aria rupicola and commonly called Rock Whitebeam. It is a deciduous tree or shrub species from the Rosaceae family, originating from northern Europe. Growing to medium size, this plant produces oval leaves with felted white undersides and serrated edges. Flowers are borne in clusters, coloured white, appearing from spring and leading onto deep red berry fruits. It is round in rocky woodland and limestone cliff environments.
