Pisum sativum 'Tom Thumb' is a fun fast growing dwarf variety that is ideal for growing in containers, window-boxes and pots. A true dwarf pea, 'Tom Thumb' this heirloom cultivar will only get to 30cm (12") in height but produces full sized pea pods filled with tasty sweet peas, which might not make it to the kitchen. Peas like a sunny position , but are cold tolerant plants, that can be sown in fertile compost early for first crops and at regular intervals for a continuous harvest.
