Beans are ready to harvest in 55 to 65 days from transplant. Green beans are picked at an immature stage, when the seeds inside have not yet fully developed. Look for firm, sizable pods and snap or cut off the plant. Do not injure the plant!

Plant seeds in Spring or Summer in warm soil. Germination in about 1 to 2 weeks. In Spring sow the seeds 2.5 cm deep and in Summer sow the seeds even deeper.
