Emerald Fern 'Meyersii' Overview

Asparagus densiflorus 'Meyersii' is a tuberous evergreen fern cultivar with a compact growth habit, growing to around 50cm high. This bright green fern is known for its neat upright growth which resembles a cats or foxes tail, hence the common name Foxtail Fern. It looks particularly lush when planted en-masse but is also useful as a container plant. The graceful arching stems feature feathery needle-like foliage. Tiny white-pink, star-shaped flowers appear in summer, followed by red berries in autumn. The attractive foliage can be used in floral arrangements.
