Gasterias are succulent plants with flattened strap-shaped leaves arranged in rosettes or opposite pairs. G. bicolor is a medium-sized, perennial, succulent. They are water-wise and make excellent houseplants.

Sow seed fresh. Germination within 3 weeks! Use a sandy soil mixture.
Leafs can be easily teared off the base and place in sandy soil to root. Allow to dry first on a windowsill for a few days!
