Overview

The 'Sensation' mango cultivar produces a dark plum red, oval shaped fruit with succulent, aromatic yellow flesh. These tropical trees are medium to tall, with long, glossy, dark green leaves. Give it plenty of sun and regular water! Mango 'Sensation' is an evergreen fruit tree from the Anacardiaceae family. Mangos are a popular food, consumed around the world. This plant is a late-season mango cultivar, developed in South Florida, that was once commercially cultivated for Mango production. Mango 'Sensation' produces excellent yields, but is now not as commonly grown due to problems with uneven ripening.
