Viburnum Overview

Viburnum is a genus with around 192 deciduous, semi-evergreen or evergreen trees and shrubs from the Viburnaceae family. These plants have attractive foliage that displays good autumn colour and they are also grown for their pretty white or pink 5-petalled flowers. Leading onto attractive red, purple or black fruits. Flowers are produced in clusters, on structures with longer outer stems compared to the inner ones, creating a flat-topped inflorescence called a corymb. Some species have scented flowers.
