Sweet Flag Overview

The genus Acorus contains around 2 semi-evergreen perennial aquatic species growing either submerged or on the margins of water. They produce aromatic foliage and small horn-shaped flowers 5-7cm in length in midsummer. Commonly known as Sweet Flag, they best suit marshy, wet areas and some cultivars are used as aquarium plants.
