Copper leaf Overview
A large genus of evergreen shrubs, annual and perennial flowering plants and small trees in the family Euphorbiaceae with approximately 450-460 species. They are grown for both the foliage and flowers and are distributed mainly in tropical and subtropical regions, with ~60% native to the Americas and ~30% native to Africa. It is recognisable by its tiny red flowers hanging in long, dense spikes similar to catkins and has oval, toothed deep green leaves.
