Carissa Overview
A small genus of around 8 species of small trees and shrubs that grow between 2-10m tall. They originate from tropical and subtropical areas of Asia, Australia and Africa and possess impressive thorns which can be simple or branched. Leaves are waxy and simple measuring between 2-8cm in length and flowers 1-5cm wide and usually cream or pink.
