Cupid's bower Overview
Genus of around 25 trailing, perennial, rhizomatous herb plants native to tropical and subtropical North and Central America. One species is naturally found in the West Indies and the most species are found in Mexico. Cultivars and hybrids have been extensively bred and have been naturalised in other areas due to their pretty, colourful, 5-petalled flowers.
