Hesperoyucca is a small genus containing 2 species of evergreen shrubs in the Asparagaceae family native to arid desert regions of Mexico and the Southwestern US. This genus is closely related to the Yucca genus. Commonly known as Our Lord’s candle, cultivated members of this genus are distinguished by their rosettes of stiff, fleshy sword-shaped leaves and stout inflorescences bearing pendulous bell-shaped flowers.
