Glory of Texas Overview
This is a perennial cactus, with a spiny, pillar-like singular stem, which is globe-shaped to erect. The stem has more than 10 prominent ribs, lined with pronounced tubercles sprouting 2-toned yellow and red radial spines, and 4 longer yellow central spines. The flowers are pinkish purple and trumpet-shaped.
