Hollyhock Overview

Single flowers, borne on long stems, bloom throughout summer in a range of delicate whites and creams. The leaves (approx. 20 cm long) are light green, slightly lobed, and rough to the touch. Hollyhocks are typically hardy perennials but best treated as biennials due to the fungal disease known as rust, sometimes spoiling plants grown for more than two years.
