Chimonobambusa Overview

Chimonobambusa contains approximately 37 bamboo species in the grass family, Poaceae. They come from Eastern Asia, specifically areas of the Himalayas, China, Japan, Myanmar and Vietnam. Typical reasons for cultivation include their square canes, delicate foliage and overall appearance. Planting specimens together in a line can create effective screens or hedges to create garden rooms or provide privacy.
