Variegated Needle Palm 'Color Guard' Overview

Yucca filamentosa 'Color Guard' is a small, evergreen shrub species with a stemless, clumping growth habit. Commonly known by the name Variegated Needle Palm 'Color Guard'. This plant produces sword-shaped foliage coloured deep green with central pale yellow stripes, measuring up to 75cm long. Flowers are bell-shaped, coloured cream-yellow and form a striking effect up to 2m tall over the green foliage. These measure approximately 6cm in length and are produced in panicle arrangments from mid to late summer.
