Natal Flame Tree Overview

Beatiful flowering tree with long lasting red flowers followed by winged fruit. It is a protected tree, but popular with tree collectors and worthwhile to consider in town gardens too. The evergreen leaves make a beautiful crown over time. The wood breaks easily and lead to the Afrikaans name 'Breekhout'.
