Paper bush Overview

Genus contains around 4 deciduous shrubs originating from China and the Himalayas. They have characteristic papery bark that may be used to produce traditional hand-made paper and they are known as paper bushes. Foliage is hairy and they are typically grown for their interesting clusters of tubular flowers. These are often yellow but may also be seen in orange, white or red colours.
