Round-Leaved Restharrow Overview

Ononis rotundifolia is a bushy perennial shrub from the Fabaceae family. Commonly known by the names Round-Leaved Restharrow or Restharrow. Round-Leaved Restharrow produces pretty pea-like, pink flowers with red streaking in the summer, typically growing to around 60cm tall. It spreads through underground rhizomes. Ononis rotundifolia produces slightly hairy foliage and rounded leaves with toothed margins. Many species in this genus are also known by the common name Restharrows, some are considered weeds. They are found growing naturally across Europe.
