Round Leaf Peperomia Overview

Peperomia rotundifolia is a succulent, evergreen perennial in the Piperaceae family. Commonly known by the names Trailing Jade, Jade Necklace, Creeping Buttons or Round Leaf Peperomia. In its natural habit, it can be found from Mexico to Tropical America. This perennial epiphyte crawls through rock crevices, rotten logs, trees and forest floors in the wild. Its small, round-shaped leaves are produced on lengthy soft stems that intertwine attractively and this plant has a lovely trailing habit.
