Romulea Overview
Genus consisting of roughly 109 cormous perennials which produce funnel-shaped, 6-petalled blooms that resemble flowers from the genus Crocus. These typically open in the middle of the day and close during the evening and are normally coloured white, pink, red, yellow, purple or blue. This genus originates from a diverse range of habitats in Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean.
