Strawberry 'Elsanta' Overview

Fragaria × ananassa 'Elsanta' is a mid to late-season fruiting cultivar that is popular with commercial growers for its flavour and large yields. Strawberry 'Elsanta' produces bright, firm berries in summer and is a vigorous grower with good resistance to red core (Phytophthora fragariae) a soil-transmitted fungal disease. It happily produces runners, enabling you to quickly increase your 'patch' or replace older plants. Fragaria × ananassa is commonly known as Strawberry or the Garden Strawberry are very popular additions to gardens and allotments alike.
