Oscularia caulescens Overview

Oscularia caulescens is a perennial species in the Aizoaceae family. It is native to South Africa and its found in semi-arid and rocky habitats. This plant has waxy, fleshy leaves, often with a triangular cross-section. It produces brightly-coloured, daisy-like, lilac flowers in summer and autumn. They are usually grown under glass in temperate climates, but can withstand being grown outside during the summer provided they have winter protection.
