Rose 'Flower Carpet' Overview
Rosa 'Flower Carpet' is a cultivar in the rose family, Rosaceae. It is part of the Ground Cover Horticultural Group, plants in this group are low-growing shrubs that possess small, glossy leaves and sometimes slightly scented single or double flowers arranged in clusters from summer-autumn. It typically grows to between 50-60cm in height, flowers measure approximately 4-5cm in diameter and they have pink-red petals and golden-yellow central parts. This cultivar is part of the Royal Horticultural Society “Plants for Pollinators” initiative to showcase plants which support pollinator populations by providing ample amounts of nectar and/ or pollen.
