Clover Overview
Also known as clover and trefoil, this genus contains around 244 annual, biennial or perennials, with some semi-evergreen species. Foliage is divided into 3 lobes and generally rounded in shape, sometimes with pale green markings. Flowers are pea-like and delicate, borne in spherical clusters in white, red, yellow or pink colours. This genus includes many species considered invasive and many species commonly cultivated as fodder plants for animal feed.
