Honeybush Overview

A genus comprising around 6 species of evergreen shrubs in the Francoaceae family native to South Africa. They have large divided leaves with narrow, pinnate leaflets and tall, sturdy racemes of tubular flowers. Commonly known as honey flower, they are grown in cultivation for their striking architectural foliage and colourful flowers. They prefer a well-drained substrate and full sun and are perfect in a container that can be brought inside during the winter.
