Small genus of 3 bulbous perennials with small flowers that resemble bluebells in shades of blue, purple, pink and white. They originate from Southeastern Europe and specific islands in the West Mediterranean and can tolerate light frost. They are nice garden bulbs for spring flowering and have won UK garden merit awards in the past.
