    Orchid Overview

There are about 40 species which produce sprays of about 30 flowers of either green, yellow, white, pink, dull red or brown. The leaves are long and arching. The perennials consist of 3 outer sepals and 3 inner petals, the lowest of which is usually enlarged. The flowers can be colourful and are very attractive.
