Hellebore 'Christmas Carol' Overview
Helleborus niger 'Christmas Carol' is a semi-evergreen perennial species with a flowering height of around 30cm. Foliage is pedately lobed, rigid and coloured dark green. Commonly known as Hellebore or Christmas Rose 'Christmas Carol' this cultivar has very distinctive bowl-shaped, white flowers with tapered petals. The flowers measure around 8cm wide and have many yellow anthers in the centres. This plant is ideal for heavy clay areas in partially shaded locations.
