Angelica is a genus containing around 107 species of biennial and herbaceous perennial plants from the carrot family, Apiaceae. They are native to subarctic and temperate areas, growing fairly tall, reaching on average between 1-3m in height. These plants produce large leaves that divide twice in a bipinnate shape and compound umbels of white-green or purple flowers.
