Anastrabe Overview

Anastrabe is a small genus with only a single species of branching shrub or small tree, A. integerrima. Its found in Mozambique and the Kwazulu-Natal Province in South Africa. Grows with an upright habit and much of the plant is covered in hairs. Foliage is lance-shaped and leathery, flowers are 2-lipped, yellow and pea-like, with red markings inside.
