Brachyscome Overview

A genus of around 80 annual and perennial herbaceous plants and subshrubs, mostly endemic to Australia, with some species in New Zealand and New Guinea. They are cultivated for their variable foliage, which can be finely divided and their daisy-like flowers, which can be white, purple, pink or blue. Species can be evergreen or deciduous and they originate from rocky, damp and also dry habitats in alpine and subalpine areas.
