Podalyria Overview

The genus Podalyria contains roughly 28 evergreen shrubs adapted to woodland, streamsides and the edges of forests in Southern Africa. Foliage is usually covered in hairs, with rolled leaf edges. They produce attractive, pea-like, scented flowers which are produced singly or in pairs.
