Monkshood Overview
A genus of over 250 herbaceous perennial plants commonly known as wolfsbane or monkshood. Growing in mountainous regions, this genus is fully hardy and would suit a rock garden or border planting. They bear pretty hooded purple flowers in summer on upright stems, but all parts are highly toxic and handling the foliage may irritate skin.
