Anaphalis is a genus containing around 110 herbaceous and woody flowering perennial species native mostly to Central and South Asia. One species is from North America and this genus also includes two endangered species. They have small, papery flowers which can be dried and collected for decoration, these are most often white in colour and the foliage is typically narrow. This genus resides in the daisy family, Asteraceae (Asteraceae).
