Englerophytum is a small genus with under 10 species of shrub or tree in the Sapotaceae family. They possess spirally arranged foliage which is oval to linear in shape with rounded ends. Flowers are small and non-showy, coloured yellow, these open from spherical brown buds on bare stems.
