Mazus Overview
A genus of around 27 accepted species of low-growing herbaceous perennial plants in the Mazaceae, although until recently they were placed in a variety of other families. They are found in East and Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand where they grow in damp habitats. They have a creeping habit and small, attractive Spring flowers and are commonly cultivated in rock gardens and between paving stones.
